Premises Update

As you are aware, the unexpected forced closure of A block in September has presented us with some accommodation challenges. The local authority worked quickly with the school to find a temporary solution that enabled lessons to quickly return to normal with the least amount of disruption as possible. Moving forward, we are being provided with new, purpose built state-of-the-art accommodation which will consist of 36 classrooms and offices. This new 'superblock' will be housed on part of our existing field and should be ready to occupy in late March 2017. The bespoke teaching spaces will provide us with the best facilities to teach a range of subjects including food technology, drama and languages.

In addition the local authority has invested significantly in the refurbishment of B block; we have renovated part of the existing school to create a new ICT provision of 7 bespoke classrooms, providing our pupils with some of the best facilities within the city.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our pupils, parents/carers and wider community for their support whilst this refurbishment work has been undertaken.
